Our client, a prestigious luxury property in Portugal, is seeking an experienced Head of Sales MICE & Corporate to lead their sales strategy, drive revenue growth and position the property as a premier destination in the luxury hospitality market. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales leader with a strong background in high-end hospitality, a deep understanding of the luxury market and a proven track record in driving sales performance.
About the Role :
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan to attract within the MICE and corporate sectors, primarily focusing on Portugal and European market.
You will oversee a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet and exceed revenue targets. Your role will be key in forging strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry leaders to enhance the property’s market presence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Leadership & Strategy :
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
Business Development :
Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, including partnerships with corporate accounts.
Team Management :
Lead, mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance and exceed revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management :
Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients and luxury hospitality networks to enhance brand loyalty.
Market Positioning :
Analyze market trends, competitor activity and guest preferences to position the property as a leading luxury destination.
Revenue Optimization:
Monitor key sales metrics, adjust strategies as needed and maximize revenue streams.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Proven experience in MICE, corporate sales or hospitality sales management within the luxury hospitality sector.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding revenue targets in MICE and Corporate sales.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior-level clients and stakeholders.
- Fluent in English;
Portuguese and other languages are a plus.
