We're looking for a Senior Engineer Interconnect Platforms for a project in the telecom sector.

Job Description

As a Senior Engineer Interconnect Platforms, you will play a critical role in managing and evolving the STP, Sigtran, SS7, and SIP firewall platforms.

Your tasks will include:

• Investigating complex incidents related to the STP platform, Sigtran, SS7 firewall, and SIP firewall escalated by the front-line security team.
• Assisting in identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities or bugs.
• Managing structural or equipment-related problems and escalating them to engineering or vendors as needed.
• Implementing interconnection setups for new operators using SS7/STP and SIP firewall technologies.
• Documenting production infrastructure and configurations.
• Delivering training sessions to front-line operational teams on new setups and processes.
• Planning and executing OS/platform upgrades (STP, SS7 firewall, Call Shield), following company change management procedures.
• Monitoring service health and capacity, planning upgrades, and resolving incidents proactively.

Profile And Skills To Success

• A university degree in a relevant field with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in:
  SS7/STP signaling, Sigtran, SIP firewall, IP networks;
• Technical expertise:
  Siemens HiS700 STP, SS7 firewall, Mavenir Call Shield, Mavenir SIP firewall, IP networking;
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English;
• Analytical, pragmatic, and result-driven approach to problem-solving;
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage critical incidents effectively;
• A true team player, open to participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation with other team members.
