Responsibilities:

Design and develop the core SOC infrastructure , including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and log collection pipelines
Select and integrate the tools and platforms , with a preference for Splunk in SIEM environments
Design detections, automation playbooks , and incident response processes no pre-made templates, this starts with you
Document and register all configurations, integrations, and procedures , ensuring traceability and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with the broader security and DevSecOps teams to align infrastructure, network security, and cloud visibility
Investigate complex security incidents , perform deep root cause analysis and threat detection
Contribute to threat hunting , custom detection engineering, and overall visibility improvement
Continuously evaluate and enhance the security posture of the SOC

Requirements:

Proven experience in a Tier 3 SOC, Detection Engineering, or DevSecOps role
Hands-on experience with SIEM and/or SOAR platforms ideally Splunk, b ut multi-vendor experience is welcome
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) and comfort in Linux environments
Solid understanding of networking protocols, threat vectors, and attack techniques (MITRE ATT&CK)
Experience selecting and integrating tools from scratch and justifying your technical choices
Familiarity with E DR and log collection solutions
Ability to document and formalise processes clearly and effectively
Fluent in English and Portuguese
